This past weekend when I went to my parents house, I couldn’t help myself to taking a million photos of the flowers they have in their front yard. These beautiful hydrangeas were just blooming everywhere! The amount of different colors within a single bush was incredible…these totally looked fake. My husband told me that it has to do with the dirt that they are planted…that the more acidic they are, the more different colors it gives. A cool little fact though..it is much easier to change a hydrangea from pink to blue than it is from blue to pink. Changing a hydrangea from pink to blue entailsĀ adding aluminum to the soil. Changing from blue to pink meansĀ subtracting aluminum from the soil or taking it out of reach of the hydrangea. Neat huh? Well, I have consider taking a flower decoration and/or gardening class.
Anyways, have a great day and enjoy the Sun because its the SUMMER!!!!!!

Beautiful
Love those colors….
These are beautiful. Thanks for the tip. I was wondering this over the weekend, because I didn’t see any blue hydrangeas at the nursery or in my MIL’s garden. I used to have one and wondered if there was something done to the soil. Now I know
Gorgeous photos, as always!!!
