Sunflower field “after wedding session”

! A few weeks ago, I photographed Carlie and Ryan for their ” After Wedding Session’ which by the way are so much fun!!I just can’t get enough of this sunflower field…and actually the man who owns it took me to a few more fields he has. I love adding new backgrounds and looks for my porfolio!! The funny thing was, Larry (who owns several crops) is the grandfather of Miss. South Carolina Teen! He even brought her out so I could take her picture! I really enjoyed taking my time creating this memories…so I highly recommend this to all the couples out there!

A few weekends ago I photographed this beautiful wedding at the Breakers. When I saw Nedra’s dress, it was like love at first sight! I knew it was going to be soo perfect for this time of the year…light, comfortable and it would flow so great with the beach wind! There was lots of details to play with ( which I really love). The weather was really perfect for the occasion and I got to spend a good amount of time with Rajaee and Nedra right after the ceremony…I guess that’s probably my favorite thing about the weddings…I love photographing just the Bride and the Groom! Thanks guys for a fun time…your wedding really rocked!!

Dorsey Wedding part 1!

oh…how I loved this couple! I’ve been patiently waiting to post this special wedding…let me present to you an awesome wedding party, starting with the Carlie and Ryan. This event took place at the Grand Dunes Member’s club on april 12, 2010. I love detail oriented weddings, for sure this was one of those where every tiny thing matters! Enjoy!

This wedding took place at the Breakers Resort a few weekends ago. I really loved this couple and their stories, when Tameeka contacted me she wasn’t 100% sure if the wedding was going to take place, since Anthony may be deployed oversees. Well, it all worked out and they were able to have their sweet wedding…it was a pretty small crowd but everyone was so loving towards them. Congratulations guys, I hope that God will bless your marriage wherever you may be!

This wedding took place at Grande Dunes Ocean Club on May 1st, 2010. And what a beautiful day to get married…it was actually pretty windy at the beach, but I LOVED this couple and all the family members involved at the wedding. I was bonded to this family starting with Amber and Cory’e engagement session as well as with the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. It was really wonderful to meet their parents, siblings, friends and everyone else who just really allowed to me to feel part of the pack! Haha! They also all love my accent Anyhow, I was really comfortable to just do my thing and boy this was the perfect wedding to do so. I really love all the details and the flowers done by one of the best here Mark Gladden who is incredibly talented. There were so much put into these details, that I really enjoyed going around and photographing everything.

This was definitely one of my favorite weddings and the day really played out nicely. Thanks guys soo much for allowing me this opportunity to get to know you and share this day with you! Your families are really sweet and bonded with each other! May God bless your marriage!

I had the honor to photograph this beautiful wedding a few weekends ago ( April 17th, 2010) at the Osbornes in Florence. This was officially my first Colombian bride, and boy was the pressure on! Haha, not really, I was incredibly excited to be a party of wedding specially, since my parents were also invited to go. My dad who is also a photographer, was going to keep an eye on us to make sure we were doing a good job! I think we has thrilled to see the way that my brother and I worked together. Anyways, I loved everything about this wedding, the people, the place, the bridesmaids, the flower girls ( specially), the flowers, the guests…everything! Patricia impressed me a great amount..she is a gorgeous bride, but also a super sweet girl! She and her bridesmaids were so fun to talk to and to photograph.

One highlight, was the vintage looking feel that Patricia and Lucero (her mom) brought into this event. This really felt original and new. Thanks guys for your effords into making everything come together!

Casey and Shana Mitchell Part 2

This bridal party was incredibly fun!!! Although they were all so cold, I managed to get their hearts pumping and have some fun. The first dance photos are probably one of my most favorite things to photograph, I really enjoy playing with the light. I am so fascinated by being able to make these photos intimate, romantic and with intentional.

The cake was also a highlight, Casey’s mother made it! such crafty family, ha? anyways, I loved this couple and their crazy friends and family. Enjoy!!

Casey and Shana Mitchell Part 1

March 27, 2010 was the day that these two love birds tied the knot! It was a beautiful day but definitely a little windy( I was reminded of this by Shana, pretty much the entire day). There was lots of factors that made this wedding super special–for one, Casey and his family made all the bouquets and put all wedding arrangements together. Actually, when I photographed Shana for her bridal session, Casey made the flowers for her as a test run for the wedding. He did an amazing job! This wedding was not only an union between these two souls, but Bryce (their son) was also joining this marriage! Well, I should not say too much…next blog post….you will see!

The day was a little chilli and I almost had to beg Shana to go outside, I kept telling her.”its all worth it..” Now, she completely agrees…to be honest, the wedding day goes so fast that my job is to not only take pretty pictures, but also to stay within the schedule and make the best of the time given. I really enjoyed this wedding! I love the very last photo of this post! Love Bryce.

Oops, almost forgot to mention that their wedding took place at Kingston Plantation. The staff really did a great job!
