Oh Lord, how do I start….Well, Jen contacted me about her session but I was going to be out of town…but she insisted that I do her portraits. So, I came back to Myrtle Beach just in time to start her session in the Murrells Intel marsh…and really, there was not a lot of places with clear backgrounds to pose them, so I had the bright idea of taking them to a little marsh Island. I asked one of the boat guys to take us there and so we got on the boat and got on our way. Well, to my surprise, we couldn’t get the boat right to the very edge of the marsh…no we had to literally walk in mud/shells/dirty water just to get to the grass part. I was pretty embarrassed that I had not really thought about that. Well, after getting a few pictures, the tide was going out and the boat was about to get stuck….we rushed back and thankfully were able to get out of there on time.

The picture above, really shows the impossible task it was to reach the little island

Totally worth it, right?

love the picture above...her little expression is priceless and 100% natural!
See the mud in their feet?? Yes, it totally adds originality to the photograph. After that point, although I was feeling bad, I decided to approach this the rest of the time I had with them in documenting the whole experience…and to my surprise, the rest of the photos were probably the best! What a memorable session, ha?

Lovely!!!

Love this photo...has such a natural movement and flow!!!

These two photos are probably some of my best work!! Look at her natural beautiful face!!!
