Last week I had the pleasure to get together again with the Rodericks! I have been part of their photo journey–starting with their wedding, family portraits , maternity session and soon their baby pictures! This sweetl family are expecting a beautiful baby girl…and I mean BEAUTIFUL! Kristy looked absolutely lovely, and her belly is just perfect! I can’t wait to see your newborn in a few months!

Thank you guys again, I loved spending time with you!!

Beautiful big sister!

Oh Lord, how do I start….Well, Jen contacted me about her session but I was going to be out of town…but she insisted that I do her portraits. So, I came back to Myrtle Beach just in time to start her session in the Murrells Intel marsh…and really, there was not a lot of places with clear backgrounds to pose them, so I had the bright idea of taking them to a little marsh Island. I asked one of the boat guys to take us there and so we got on the boat and got on our way. Well, to my surprise, we couldn’t get the boat right to the very edge of the marsh…no we had to literally walk in mud/shells/dirty water  just to get to the grass part. I was pretty embarrassed that I had not really thought about that. Well, after getting a few pictures, the tide was going out and the boat was about to get stuck….we rushed back and thankfully were able to get out of there on time.

The picture above, really shows the impossible task it was to reach the little island

Totally worth it, right?

love the picture above...her little expression is priceless and 100% natural!

See the mud in their feet?? Yes, it totally adds originality to the photograph. After that point, although I was feeling bad, I decided to approach this the rest of the time I had with them in documenting the whole experience…and to my surprise, the rest of the photos were probably the best! What a memorable session, ha?

Lovely!!!

Love this photo...has such a natural movement and flow!!!

These two photos are probably some of my best work!! Look at her natural beautiful face!!!

Jen is my super sweet friend! She and I were pregnant at the same time when I was expecting Miles, and I met her during a natural child birth class. Right off the bat, we really hit if off and have been great friends ever since! Well, now she is expecting again, and she is having a boy!! Wooho!! Good job guys! I know you are so excited to become parents again, and although you are so young, I already admire your hard work and dedication to your family!

May God continue to give you many children ( ha-ha! Jen…I know you are giving me a dirty look right now), but anyways, thanks for your friendship!

p.s. I know that last pic has nothing to do with your pregnancy, but your dogs are so darn cute!

Pic above is priceless!

My favorite ones!
