Lately I have been extremely happy! My 10 month old baby is walking full steam and although it’s been hard trying to keep up with him, we are enjoying every minute. I take photographs of him all the time, but here are some of my most favorite ones!

I have been blessed to have such good friends! I met Jen at a childbirth class and hit it off right away. Our babies are just 3 weeks apart and it has been so great having someone to talk about baby stuff. So, what’s to be said about Jen? Well, besides being my number one blog stalker, she is an amazing mom…you know the people that only eat organic and reads all instructions?? That’s her! I have truly enjoyed her friendship, so we decided to do her family portrait. I went with a complete new concept and I loved it!

Today I had the privilege of photographing Blair Bruce! She was born about 2 weeks ago and she is already such a big girl! Blair was no very happy at first, but once we stepped outside, she lighten up!

I really enjoyed taking her pictures, it reminded me when Miles was that small!

I really want to start taking more pictures of children and to tell you the truth, I am challenged by it so I decided to just go for it. My vision for children is different than the typical photograph where children are all wearing white tops are sitting by the beach holding a sea star (not that that’s bad, it’s just not me). Also, we all know that it’s a lot of work to photograph children because they are so active, especially if you are trying to pose them. Loany is one of my friend’s daughter and let me tell you…she is already such a little model…she has some great potential. My little sister came along, but of course as you all know, she does not like to be photographed but that is where my skills come in!

I was chasing these girls capturing fun moments…(they were literally running away from me), but we had a great time.

My little sister, Sara had a birthday this weekend, She turned 5! She is such a beautiful little girl, but she is really shy. I was able to take a few pictures of her…she usually will run away from all cameras! I did not post many pictures, but here are my 3 favorite ones. I love you sister!

Sweet Baby of Mine

As most of you know I recently had a baby boy. His name is Miles and he was born about four months ago! Being a mommy has been such a learning process to me, I guess I did not realize how much I could love a little one! He is incredibly sweet! My husband David and I are really enjoying having him. This passed weekend we got to go to Charleston for a few days and these are some of the shoots I took while there. Did not really take pictures of Charleston, instead I focus my time with Miles!
