I loved this sweet dog—I mean couple….haha! We decided to go out in the country and find some pretty backgrounds. I love going down 378 towards Sumter because there so many pretty places to photograph…farms, old houses, fields and old country roads! Anyways, Mike and Katy brought their little dog ( Domino) along with them, brining pets to sessions is the best idea ever!  I enjoyed spending a few hours with this sweet couple…i can’t wait until their wedding in October.

Enjoy!!!

Summer Flowers

June 1, 2010

This past weekend when I went to my parents house, I couldn’t help myself to taking a million photos of the flowers they have in their front yard. These beautiful hydrangeas were just blooming everywhere! The amount of different colors within a single bush was incredible…these totally looked fake. My husband told me that it has to do with the dirt that they are planted…that the more acidic they are, the more different colors it gives. A cool little fact though..it is much easier to change a hydrangea from pink to blue than it is from blue to pink. Changing a hydrangea from pink to blue entails adding aluminum to the soil. Changing from blue to pink means subtracting aluminum from the soil or taking it out of reach of the hydrangea. Neat huh? Well, I have consider taking a flower decoration and/or gardening class.

Anyways, have a great day and enjoy the Sun because its the SUMMER!!!!!!
