March 27, 2010 was the day that these two love birds tied the knot! It was a beautiful day but definitely a little windy( I was reminded of this by Shana, pretty much the entire day). There was lots of factors that made this wedding super special–for one, Casey and his family made all the bouquets and put all wedding arrangements together. Actually, when I photographed Shana for her bridal session, Casey made the flowers for her as a test run for the wedding. He did an amazing job! This wedding was not only an union between these two souls, but Bryce (their son) was also joining this marriage! Well, I should not say too much…next blog post….you will see!

The day was a little chilli and I almost had to beg Shana to go outside, I kept telling her.”its all worth it..” Now, she completely agrees…to be honest, the wedding day goes so fast that my job is to not only take pretty pictures, but also to stay within the schedule and make the best of the time given. I really enjoyed this wedding! I love the very last photo of this post! Love Bryce.

Oops, almost forgot to mention that their wedding took place at Kingston Plantation. The staff really did a great job!

One of my faves!

Last week I had the pleasure to be a part of a pretty awesome commercial shoot that took place at the Hampton Inn Ocean front. The job was directed and filmed by George Avgerakis from Avekta Productions Inc and assisting with lighting crew, our very local filming crew Encore Video Productions. We started pretty early ( let me state the time, 5:15am) getting footage of families enjoying their stay at the hotel.

Well, I learned a lot…! One of the first things that I got used to hearing was ” Where is our talent?” What they mean by that…is their actors and such! Quickly after arriving (very early!) I started to photograph the talent being guests at the hotel. I was incredibly fortunate to work besides George and Graham ( Who is part of Encore Productions). They had an incredible amount of knowledge about lighting! :) I fell in love with their equipment!

After a little bit into the shoot, I really started to think what would make me want to stay at a hotel…so I thought…if I show fun and pretty pictures, people visiting Myrtle Beach would most likely be attracted to this. Literally, after one hour of being there, I started to spice things a bit ( like in everyshoot!!). I was so relieved that George completely went along with all my ideas!!

So, I am really just showing a very few pictures of the hundreds I took! These areĀ  photos that would totally sell me when choosing a hotel to stay at, which by the way, I loved this place! The management ( and the food) was really amazing!

Thanks to everyone that I worked with! The cast or “talent” were pretty awesome kids!! Everyone just rocked it out.

So, if you are considering coming to Myrtle Beach, and want to stay at the Hampton Inn….

You will see a beautiful Sunrise

Franchesca’s prom

April 20, 2010

So I few weekends ago, I went to photograph one of my friends daughter’s, who was about to go and celebrate her prom. Gosh, I remember when I went to my prom…My dress was so big on me, my mom had to sowed it in the back, so I could not take it out unless she ripped it!! lol! Anyways, being at this session really brought back some fun memories…! These kids were all looking so sharp! They were also very annoyed at the amount of people trying to take their picture..hahaha. When I first pulled Franchesca aside to take her pictures, I realized she was not too excited to have her photos taken, but as soon as I brought her date along, she totally brighten up!

Although it was a pretty cloudy day, the sun literally picked out for the few minutes I had with her! Her mom tells me she loved the photos!!

I love this...so much!

Pretty girls!

Love this...my favorite one
