Arnie and Amye Caldwell

This past weekend I had that pleasure of photographing a really special wedding! Amye and Arnie exchanged their vows at Caledonia ( BTW, one of the most beautiful golf courses in Pawleys) on August 8th, 2009. It was such a beautiful day and although their wedding was small, all the details and decorations were fantastic! Amye’s children are some of the sweetest children I have seen! They were helping each other getting ready and also arranging some of the decorations ( more specifically the M&M’s!)

Arnie, Amye, JD & Julia, I wish the best for you. You became a beautiful family and I feel fortunate to have captured all these special moments!

Workshop in Greenville

This past week, I had the opportunity to go to a wedding workshop offered by Sposa Bella Photography in Greenville, SC. It was such a great opportunity to ask all kinds of questions and learn from Craig and Lindsay. They are a husband and wife team and boy are they talented! My good friends Jen & Cavan!

I have been blessed to have such good friends! I met Jen at a childbirth class and hit it off right away. Our babies are just 3 weeks apart and it has been so great having someone to talk about baby stuff. So, what’s to be said about Jen? Well, besides being my number one blog stalker, she is an amazing mom…you know the people that only eat organic and reads all instructions?? That’s her! I have truly enjoyed her friendship, so we decided to do her family portrait. I went with a complete new concept and I loved it!
