Saturday June 13th was the day at the Marriott…Tonia was looking beautiful as always but she was a little concerned about the weather…it looked liked it was going to rain or even storm. While taking some pictures of her gown, she broke in tears wondering why it had to rain on her wedding day, so we decided to do all the formals while it was pouring outside. To no surprise, the rain stopped literally 5 mins. before the ceremony. We all walked out to the beach and were able to do the ceremony outside! By the time we started to do pictures of just Matt and Tonia, there was nobody at the beach!! it was great!! After doing a few photos, I was like ” do you guys want to get in the ocean?”. Tonia did not seem too convinced about it, but Matt convinced her! They ran down to the water and started splashing water at each other! it was soo much fun to just photograph that…they were truly having the best time of their life!

Persistent as I am, I asked them if they would be willing to jump in the pool!! Everyone looked at me like I was going nuts…( it’s true..I go nuts about wedding photography!).  Well, they did it! they jumped in the pool and it was awesome. The rained scared everyone out of the pool except us! We got some great shots for this wedding.

I learned that you have to work with all situations…and make the best of them, even if you have to change things around!  Thanks guys for going with my crazy ideas.
